What is an Import Approval

Before a vehicle can be shipped to Australia, you must obtain official permission from the Australian government. This permission is called Vehicle Import Approval (VIA).
Without a valid Import Approval:
Your vehicle will be refused entry.
You may face storage and shipping penalties.
The vehicle cannot be registered or driven in Australia.
